01

Your agreement with COEXR

These terms govern your use of coexr.com and the COEXR app, provided by COEXR TECHNOLOGIES, Nigeria. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Contact us at support@coexr.com.

02

What COEXR provides

COEXR helps people discover nearby workouts, join sessions, and bring people together by hosting their own. Session details, experience levels, places, and availability depend on what hosts provide and the features available in the app.

Hosts and participants are responsible for their own activities. A listing, profile, or participant acknowledgement is not a guarantee of someone’s identity, qualifications, attendance, or a session’s safety. COEXR does not provide medical advice or emergency services.

03

Your account

You must have the legal capacity and any authorisation required to use the service where you live. Where a parent or guardian’s authorisation is legally required, obtain it before using COEXR.

Provide accurate information, use an email address you control, and keep your account and sign-in codes secure. Do not impersonate another person, share access to your account, or create accounts to evade restrictions. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

04

Joining a session

Read the activity, experience level, time, meeting point, and host’s instructions before attending. Choose sessions appropriate to your abilities and circumstances. Exercise and meeting others involve risks; consider the environment, equipment, weather, and your own condition before taking part.

Seek qualified advice if you are unsure whether an activity is suitable for you. Stop if you feel unsafe or unwell. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.

Respect everyone’s time. If your plans change, use the available withdrawal option. Under the current session rules, withdrawing releases your place and you cannot rejoin that same workout. Sessions may change or be cancelled, so check the latest details before travelling.

05

Hosting responsibly

Complete the required profile steps, including a profile photo, before hosting. Describe the activity, meeting place, time, capacity, expected experience, and any practical requirements accurately. Do not imply qualifications or permissions you do not have.

Choose an appropriate meeting place, obtain any required venue permissions, and follow local rules. Tell participants about relevant changes or cancellation using the available features. Hosting does not make you an employee, agent, or representative of COEXR.

If you enable phone sharing, your current profile number is available to active participants for that session. Only share a number you are authorised to use.

06

Respect the people around you

Make room for different backgrounds, bodies, and experience levels. You must not:

  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or endanger someone.
  • Post unlawful, misleading, abusive, or sexually exploitative content, or use sessions for scams or spam.
  • Share private contact details, meeting information, or identifiable photos without appropriate permission.
  • Scrape personal information, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or misuse its systems.
  • Misrepresent a workout, attendance, identity, or professional qualification.

Report concerns to support@coexr.com. Include enough context to help us investigate, and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

07

Your content and our work

You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you submit. You give COEXR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, format, and display that content as needed to operate and provide the service, including through service providers. This permission does not give us ownership of your work or a general right to use your image in advertising.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload your content. Removing content or closing an account is subject to the retained history, backups, and lawful retention described in the Privacy policy.

COEXR’s branding, software, and original design belong to COEXR TECHNOLOGIES or its licensors. We permit personal use of the service in accordance with these terms; that permission does not transfer intellectual property rights.

08

Availability and other services

We may update features or temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any particular session will take place. App stores, map applications, venues, and other external services have their own terms. Any separate arrangements you make with a host or venue are your responsibility.

09

Restrictions and closing an account

We may restrict access, remove content, or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, unlawful conduct, or risks to people or the service. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact support to challenge the decision; immediate action may be necessary for safety or legal reasons.

You can stop using COEXR at any time and use the verified account deletion flow in account settings. Deletion cancels unfinished hosted sessions and releases unfinished participations. Completed history and some records remain as explained in the Privacy policy.

10

Responsibility and your legal rights

You are responsible for your conduct, the information you submit, and your decisions to host or attend. COEXR is not responsible for a host’s or participant’s conduct merely because you connected through the app.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for losses arising from your use of the service for business purposes. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or your mandatory consumer and data protection rights.

11

Resolving concerns

Please contact support so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by Nigerian law, subject to any mandatory protections and rights to bring claims in your place of residence. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes; these terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or prevent you from contacting a regulator.

12

Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms as the service develops or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version with an updated date and give notice of material changes as required. Where your agreement is required, we will seek it. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Let’s clear things up.
